About Burkswood Holiday Co.

Ordinary wood. Extraordinary holiday spirit.

I’m Joseph Burks, the maker behind Burkswood Holiday Co. in Chesterfield, Michigan. I make handmade holiday decorations, starting with decorative wooden sleds.

From the workshop to your home

This brand begins with the transformation of raw materials into holiday decorations. The wooden sled collection is the starting point: a familiar winter shape with the personal touch of handmade work.

Whether you’re decorating your own home or choosing a gift, I want you to understand the piece you’re considering. Product photographs, dimensions, materials, prices and availability should help you make that decision—not exaggerated claims or a rush to buy.

Have something in mind?

If you’re interested in a sled or have a custom decorating idea, start an inquiry. We can discuss what’s possible, pricing, production timing, and local pickup before you commit. The shop is local pickup only, with no shipping and no returns. Pickup arrangements must be confirmed. An inquiry is not a payment or a confirmed order.

Our promise

Real wood. Real craftsmanship. A warmer holiday.
